Did that friendship subplot frustrate you too?

I’m curious — when you read My Alpha King’s Heart, did the way her friend treated her make you question the whole dynamic? Or do you think it was necessary for the character development?

For me, that storyline was uncomfortable — but in a good storytelling way. I read the book ton my passion, and what I liked is that the drama didn’t feel random. It pushed the heroine to grow. The My Passion app has a lot of romances where side conflicts actually matter and shape the main relationship. If you’re into emotional depth instead of surface-level plots, it’s definitely worth checking out.
